#263. I love it that “camp” is really about God.

Although this place is very beautiful, and lots of fun, I think the reason that it has such a special place in the hearts of so many people is because of the way people experience God here. I remember watching “Parent Trap” and thinking how empty “camp” seemed without chapel, or Christian camp songs, or spiritual content of any kind, and it seemed sad to me. Camp is always an amazing place, but the power in it is the fact that we do this to meet with God.
